Growing up in the vibrant city of Long Beach, California, we, Rodney and Anthony Van, faced life's challenges head-on. Losing our father as kids and our mother in our early 20s forged an unbreakable bond between us. Our shared experiences in athletics and the business world taught us invaluable lessons about resilience, friendship, and the importance of finding your tribe. We started 2 Brothers & A Mic to share our journey and create a platform for men to connect and grow together."
Meet Rodney and Anthony:
- Rodney Van: A college professor (Criminal Justice), entrepreneur, former collegiate athlete and current track & field coach, Rodney brings energy and passion to every conversation. His journey is one of true grit, perseverance, and continual growth.
- Anthony Van: A local business owner (AV Plumbing & Rooter), exceptional mentor and community leader, Anthony has been a guiding force for brother Rodney and many others. His wisdom and experience offer deep insights into life's challenges.
